Aquatic Blue Environmental utilizes a Van Veen or box core sampler to collect surface samples to 1’ below the mudline. This sampling method provides undisturbed surface samples to determine chemical and physical properties of bottom material. Aquatic Blue utilizes the same method for collecting infaunal samples in order to document the abundance and diversity of biological organisms in an area.
